Kiyomi and I were in the process of driving home and had turned into a side street when we saw an old Japanese women by the side of the road bent over.

As we got closer I thought to myself: “What’s going on here?” It looked like she was doing up her shoes/bending over to pick something up or clutching her stomach as she wasn’t feeling too well.

Any of the above?  No.

Got closer still and saw that she was in the process of urinating into the bushes behind her! Ugghh!

That’s too much Japanese “culture” for me.
