So Micro$oft is going to release Internet Exploder (IE) 7 ahead of the next version of windows despite telling consumers that there would be no new version of IE before then.

Reasons for doing so are primarily for “security” reasons. In other words fixing, mending, repairing, updating, and blocking all the security holes/problems that have been with IE for a long time. No word on any other changes.

If you want to make a “secure browser” get rid of activex and loose the security zones. All it takes is for one site in your “secure zone” to be taken over and then hose your system. Thanks M$.

Then again, you could always use Firefox.
