Kiyomi and I have been planning our end-of-year holiday for a little while now, ringing the various travel agents trying to find which on can get us the best price for the longest stay and finally found one who had a good deal with a one hour change in Seoul. Our tickets arrived two days ago and we only found out just before that the pilots of the carrier (Korean Air) are going on strike!

Isn’t this just typical? Here we are – we worked hard, saved some money so all three of us can go to Australia for a relaxing holiday and this happens! Just typical.
