We (I) have been working on the garden this (golden) week as there have hardly been any students this week – everyone is on holiday, we’ve finished putting bricks around the side of the yard and planting new sods. Watering it every day – trying to get all the grass to take hold and grow. I just have to keep at it I guess, it won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. I just wish it’d happen overnight though.
\nIn the afternoon Maia and Kiyomi come out and watch. Maia wears her new shoes, she seems to like walking in them and has started getting used to them – she can now sit down on the step and her feet reach the lower step. She seems to like it and looks like a little small person (which she is!) Watches me for a while, laughs, and then wants to go back inside.
