I mentioned before about we’re looking at getting our AV equipment housed under the stairs and had contacted two builders for quotes.
We heard back from one (Mr Pushy) who came around with the written quote for us. He did a follow up call some 30 minutes later and true to form started to push. “Quoted prices are for now” and “You have to make a decision.”
Well sod that for a game of soldiers, we were going to consider his offer, but the point of a quote is to know how much a builder is willing to do a job for and to give you some time to make a decision. As he clearly wasn’t going to give us time to consider it he was informed that due to excessive pressure we weren’t going with him.
He can just push off.
